Best Unlimited eSIM exists because the word "unlimited" on a travel eSIM hides two numbers that decide everything: the daily full-speed quota and the speed after it. We find those numbers, write them down in one place, and score the plans on them.
Why a site about one word
Unlimited plans are sold with the same headline everywhere, yet the experience ranges from a fast connection all day to a slow one by lunchtime. The difference sits in fair usage lines that most buyers only read after their speed drops. This site moves those lines to the front.
How we work
- We read each provider's own plan pages, help center and terms, and note the date we read them.
- We write down quotas, fallback speeds, hotspot rules, plan lengths and prices only when a provider publishes them.
- We score every provider on the same six criteria, explained on how we score.
- We do not run speed tests and we do not claim to. Where a number depends on the local network, we say so.
The desk
Articles are written and checked by a small editorial desk that follows travel connectivity: eSIM plans, roaming rules and the phones that run them. We sign our work as the Throttle Desk, because the throttle is what we spend our time reading about.
Independence
We are not a mobile operator and do not sell eSIMs. No provider reviews our pages before they go live, and positions in the scores are not for sale.
Spotted a plan that changed, or a number that looks wrong? Write to us and we will re-check the provider's page.
